Calls for a Michigan Election Audit Start to Heat Up

District Court Judge Brian Amero struck a solid blow against democracy a few days ago when he dismissed a lawsuit to examine counterfeit ballots in Fulton County, Georgia. But that doesn’t mean all is lost in the efforts to reinstate America’s real president.

If anything, the calls for audits in other states are getting louder now. An audit has actually become a campaign issue in Michigan’s race for governor next year. Plus, multiple people were just arrested in Michigan for forging dozens of absentee ballot applications. All of this is leading to Michigan citizens calling for an audit of the state’s 2020 election results.

Approximately two dozen absentee voter applications that were filed in October 2020 in Center Line, MI had signatures that didn’t match the ones on file. Each of those applications was for a nursing home resident in Center Line.

A nursing home employee named Trenae Myesha Rainey has been arrested and charged with election law forgery and forging signatures on the absentee ballots. Each of the nursing home residents that the forged applications were filled out for had not yet told the nursing home staff whether they had decided to vote or not.

An even more outrageous case involves the arrest of a different nursing home employee. Nancy Juanita Williams was arrested on charges of forging absentee ballot applications for dozens of nursing home residents where she worked. Police say that all of the patients that Williams was caring for were legally incapacitated. They weren’t going to vote one way or another, in other words. Williams is accused of having all of her nursing home patients’ ballots sent to her home address.

Another woman was arrested on a single count of attempted voter fraud in Detroit. Her grandson informed her that he was going to vote in person. Police say Carless Clark then filled out an absentee ballot application in her grandson’s name. She allegedly voted with the ballot, but the double-vote wasn’t discovered until April, and she wasn’t arrested until mid-October of 2021.

Michigan election officials, including Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, say that these arrests are proof that voter fraud is rare, and that their elections are safe and secure. The system is working, they declare to the media!

If that is true, why were these arrests only made a year after the election? Sure, these three arrests only account for a little over 50 fraudulent ballots, in a state that Joe Biden allegedly won by 154,188 votes. But those 50+ ballots were cast and counted in 2020. This is indicative of bigger problems in Michigan.

How many fraudulent ballots were cast and never caught? If anything the fact that three people were willing and able to cast ballots shows the need for a deep dive into Michigan’s 2020 election results.

Former Detroit Police Chief James Craig has retired from law enforcement, but he’s running for Governor in Michigan against that lunatic Gretchen Whitmer next year. Whitmer, as you probably remember, is the insane person who banned fishing and the sale of paint in her state last year to prevent the spread of COVID. (How did that work out, by the way? Did she stop COVID?)

Chief Craig has come down firmly in favor of conducting a full forensic audit of Michigan’s 2020 results. In a statement he issued this week, Chief Craig stated:

“What concerns me, as a political outsider, is the way that some in the Democrat Party, including Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, immediately dismiss honest efforts to secure our elections and the clear evidence that voter fraud does exist.”

The issue of an election audit is clearly not going to go away in Michigan, now that Chief Craig has made it a major campaign issue. I’m not sure why the Democrats in Michigan think that a series of arrests for voter fraud – a year after the election – somehow proves that their elections are safe and secure.

Neither are Michigan residents, who are getting louder in the calls for an audit. We’ll see if the legislature listens and follows through.

And finally, President Trump issued a cryptic statement on Friday. He announced that public records in Arizona had uncovered something “damning and determinative” in regard to that state’s 2020 election. We don’t know what his team has discovered as of this writing – but we’ll keep you posted!
